Pure Talent Search
The next tallent contest will take place April 23, 2009.
Dear Contestant and Parents,
We are so excited about the turn out for the "Pure Talent Search Contest".
The purpose of this contest is to provide positive activities for youth and to help spread a stronger message to youth about abstaining from sex, drugs and alcohol. This event was free to the community and students. The "Guard Your Heart Abstinence Program" provided the event to all Carter County Schools with 7th - 12th grade.
Auditions will be conducted at Hampton High School on (to be announced) and the top talents will be chosen for this event.
A contestant in grades 7-12 and at least one member in each group must attend the Carter County, Johnson County, or Elizabethton City School Systems. The following are three different talent categories that you may choose from in the talent show;
- Solo division
- All other talents other than singing
The board of judges consisted band instructors, dance teachers, guitar instructors, and leaders of our community. We thank them for their time.
