Mommy Mart

AA&WC provides lots of different new and used items in an area called "Mommy Mart." Items in this mart can only be obtained through the use of "Mommy Money" (or in the case of fathers caring for their children "Daddy Dollars"). Clients earn "Mommy Money" in a number of different ways including things such as attending their required Moms Class, attending school, bringing back baby items which they had previously "bought" from the Mommy Mart program, proof of attending doctor's appointments, proof of job application or interview, and keeping a checking or savings account. The more a person works the more a person can earn. If a mother goes to school, or works more than 25 hours per week then she is excused from our monthly parenting class. All other clients are required to attend our monthly parenting class. We also have a corner market which has hygiene products and basic food needs that each client can shop in one time per month as long as they meet the requirements of the program. We also have new clothing items that each client is allowed to receive three to six items of per month.
