Back to School Rally

AA&WC bought items at an auction to help with on going programs through the year. Along with these items we were able to obtain back to school items for our community’s kids. On July 28th, from 1-4 p.m. we gave out these free items to children at Cat Island, in Elizabethton. That is the park down from Carter County Sheriff’s Department. Hundreds of people showed up with their children to receive the school items. Our staff dressed up as TV LAND television shows like “I Love Lucy” and “Andy Griffith”. When so many showed up it looked as if we were going to run out of supplies but, God restocked it to last until every child had be served. Thank you GOD!!!!
