Pure Talent & Fashion Show

In April we will be hosting our annual Pure Talent Show. The event will be held on Saturday, April 30th at T.A. Dugger Jr. High School. Open Try-outs for the show will be held at Lonestar in Eliz. on Thurs., April 7th from 6-8pm. We will going around to all Carter County Schools for try-outs on April 8th, 11th and 12th.  The Talent and Fashion shows are open to all students in 7th-12th grades at any high school in Elizabethton or Carter County as well as to students in those grades who are home-schooled. The talent show will feature singing and dancing as well as a variety of other talents and beauty/fashion. There will be a table of judges for the talent show but the audience will also be able to judge the performances.  First place of solo talent will win a CD recording. We will be signing up volunteers to participate in the fashion show. This event is not a fundraiser. The purpose of the event is to help these teens see the beauty of their talents and help build their self esteem. Prizes will be given out at the event. We are currently looking for volunteers to help with both aspects of the event. Contact our Center for more information on how you can help.
